Hong Kong Football Club crash out

Hong Kong Football Club became the biggest casualty at the Perrier-Jinnah tournament after failing to progress to the semi-finals at King's Park yesterday. Club lost their first two games, against Pakistan Association 1-0 and Valley by the same score before defeating Elite 4-1 in their last game. The Sports Road side finished third in pool A behind Pakistan and Valley and will now play in the plate competition. Shaheen are firm favourites in the tournament after booking their berth in the last four with wins over SSSC (2-0), KCC (2-0) and Khalsa (2-1) in pool B.
