The Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man was nowhere to be seen - and it's no wonder.
The halls of the Hong Kong Stadium were being haunted by rugby's own version of Ghostbusters last night - four blokes from England who had suited up to help mark that film's 25th anniversary.
'We're intellectuals, you see,' explained 39-year-old Jason Gardner making his third appearance here, alongside 35-year-old neighbour Matt Job.
It's the first trip to town for their mates, John Coxford, 32, also of Surrey and 33-year-old Londoner Huw Crwys-Williams, neither of whom was in the least bit worried by the rain.
'It's impossible not to enjoy yourself and we're having an awesome time,' said Coxford. 'The film's a favourite of all of ours and when we were looking for something to dress up as it seemed a good way to celebrate its 25th anniversary.'
Crwys-Williams was warming to the task on his Sevens debut after spending the past few years hearing his friends' battle tales.
