AS the stumps are drawn on another season spare a thought for cricket-mad marketing man Tony Turner who - under the subtle pressure of his lovely ex-newscaster wife Michelle Han - has finally hung up his pads. Finding himself sitting next to Keeping Posted at a function, Turner took the opportunity to get a few things off his mind. And that, after all, is what we are here for. ''My wife never did understand the game,'' he moaned (hardly surprising since cricketers have this habit of boasting about ''bowling a maiden over''). Having his front teeth knocked out in one match probably didn't help either. Turner went on: ''I decided to make things easier for myself by taking up tennis.'' Prompting us to inquire whether this had assured domestic bliss. ''At least tennis doesn't take up so much time,'' he cautiously responded.
