They're back again and it's up to you to fight off the evil space invaders. Cue Dr Who-like music, jump into your surface-to-air cannon and make sure none of the pesky aliens land on Earth.
This is the second revamp of the classic 1978 arcade game that has been released in the last year, aptly titled Space Invaders Extreme 2 for the Nintendo DS.
The game is exactly like the previous Space Invaders Extreme (SPE) game, with hordes of multi-coloured aliens and UFOs all trying to inch their way closer to the baseline.
As with the previous SPE, you can get cool new weapons by shooting aliens of the same colour in succession.
That makes them drop one of four power-ups: a spread gun, a bomb shot that explodes on contact and takes out any nearby aliens, a giant laser beam that can destroy anything that crosses its path, and a shield for your cannon.
There are five levels, with a final boss at the end of each that you have to blow to smithereens.
This guy is 10 times bigger than the regular aliens, but don't worry - he's just as stupid and easy to beat as the rest of them.
