'Risk Management - Planning and Implementation for Corporate Downsizing, Plant Closures and Layoffs' is a lunchtime seminar organised by the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce. The economic crisis has caused many companies to initiate programmes and institute drastic measures to weather the financial storm. The most pressing risk facing companies and its assets in China is employee retrenchments. Factory sit-ins and personal injury threats, along with kidnappings, are increasingly common on the mainland. The seminar will discuss how to protect yourself and manage such risks.
