The successful local trainer was grateful to land a winner on Audemars Piguet day with $34 favourite Home Treasure, but part of Lee was not entirely happy that the big gelding had led throughout. Home Treasure is the biggest horse in training at Sha Tin, hitting the scales yesterday at 1,329 pounds, and Lee wants to see him given a softer time in his races. 'It's hard to argue with a win,' Lee said. 'I just think once he gets into the higher classes, he would be better settling in behind them and learning to relax a bit more.' Winning jockey Mark du Plessis agreed with the trainer. 'Leading all the way like he did today is probably not the way to ride him and, although he kicked away at the top of the straight, he was coming to the end of it near the line,' Du Plessis said.
