A puppet show based on the love story of late tycoons Nina Wang Kung Yu-sum and her husband will take to the stage at the Chinachem cinema in Tsim Sha Tsui from Thursday. The puppet performance is the first in a series of productions Chinachem Entertainment will present about Wang. It will be followed by a drama on fung shui, then a cartoon movie. Ringo Wong Lai-chuen, managing director of Chinachem Entertainment, said: 'The drama would be put on show only after the end of the civil trial in the High Court between Chinachem Charitable Foundation and fung shui master Chan Chun-chuen.' The puppet show, to last for 80 minutes, is entitled One Life, One Love - the words on Teddy Wang Teh-huei's will in which he left his wife Nina the Chinachem property empire and his whole estate. Featuring nine scenes with Chinese music in the background, it will detail their love story, which started before 1945, when they were still young. It will portray how the couple fell in love at first sight and made their eternal vow, how Wang coped after her husband was kidnapped, and the eternal promise she made to him. It will be performed twice a day from Thursday until May 9, a week before the start of the battle to decide who will inherit Wang's massive estate. Tickets priced at HK$25, HK$50 and HK$100 are on sale now.
