Last year, Carl F. Bucherer presented the CFB A1000 Calibre at BaselWorld. This year, the brand equipped a watch model with this extraordinary automatic calibre for the first time to unveil the Patravi EvoTec DayDate.
'A specially developed functional module has been added to this outstanding watch, whose innovative characteristics extend beyond its exclusive interior to adorn the exterior beautifully,' said Jerry Tsang, chief executive (Asia-Pacific) of Bucherer Hong Kong.
The Patravi EvoTec DayDate comes in two models: stainless steel with a calfskin strap; and with an 18-carat rose gold calfskin strap with an 18-carat rose gold folding clasp.
'For women, we have the new Alacria Royal Emeralds Limited Edition. With good feedback for the Alacria Royal Ruby, Blue and Orange versions, we expect the Emeralds to make a similar impact,' he said.
The Patravi EvoTec DayDate was the highlight at Basel this year, and it is the first model with the CFB A1000 movement.
'We are very proud that the CFB A1000 was awarded the Goldene Unruh 2009 technical prize by German magazine Uhren-Magazin. With its peripheral winding rotor, the CFB A1000 illustrates perfectly what our brand stands for - watchmaking innovation.'
The launch of the Patravi EvoTec DayDate captured a lot of attention at BaselWorld. The interior of the watch is brought to life by the CFB A1000 Calibre. This movement represents a technological evolution in mechanical time measurement, as the name EvoTec suggests.
