Model Gaile Lai has become the latest celebrity victim of a photo leak. Pictures have surfaced of Lai, the girlfriend of Canto-pop king Leon Lai Ming, kissing another man.
The model (left) explained recently that the pictures had been taken on a recent trip to Thailand and that the man in them was named Felix, a close friend who is an editor at a fashion magazine.
'Felix and I have worked on a lot of fashion projects together and we have been to Thailand many times,' she said, adding that a friend of Leon Lai's was also on the trip.
'We are like sisters. We were having a good time, so I gave him a kiss. I love kissing my sisters. There is nothing to worry about.'
The picture of the two kissing was posted on Felix's personal blog and picked up by a tabloid magazine. Lai said she and her boyfriend had seen the pictures before they were printed, but they were disturbed that the magazine had published them.
'The magazine showed them in a different way, which I thought wasn't cool, but that's OK ... You wake up the next day and hope it's someone else's story in the tabloids,' Lai said.
