Periodic public notices posted by the Obscene Articles Tribunal make for intriguing reading. The tribunal has to publish what it has classified - often in mass-circulation newspapers such as this one. But given the nature of some of the articles and their titles, it is debatable that the notices themselves might amount to potentially indecent articles and, therefore, require ratings. Take the latest batch of notices. These include such intriguing video clip titles - most probably found on YouTube - such as: Whipping perverts - they deserve it; Ah Sa's (from the Twins) singing makes you sick but spreading her legs is OK; A CID raping a 19-year-old inside Mong Kok police station. There are also movies on video discs such as: Midnight Meat Train (a horror movie); The Wife of a Slave (probably porn); and an advertisement printed in Yes magazine with the title 'Does this Form 4 girl qualify as a mammalian specimen with huge t***?' (pictured) Well, you get the idea. The notices are not exactly something you want your eight-year-old reading in a newspaper at breakfast.
