Stanmore is a residential suburb on the edge of northwest London in the London borough of Harrow. It is popular with the middle and upper classes.

Peter Murray, partner at property agency King Sturge, said the location offered a high quality of life. 'Residents enjoy a relaxed, almost rural lifestyle,' he said, adding, 'Stanmore Village has cafes, boutiques and shops, and there are several golf courses, parks and open spaces within the vicinity.'

Shopping and leisure facilities are a short drive away, including Brent Cross, which is home to numerous fashion shops and department stores. More shops, restaurants and nightlife can be found in nearby areas Edgware, Watford and Harrow.
