A survey shows that most Form Three students are worried about the New Senior Secondary (NSS) curriculum they will take from this September.
Among the 3,400 respondents to the survey, 79 per cent were not confident they could deal with the difficulties they might have under the new curriculum.
About 80 per cent were worried that the current junior secondary courses they were taking could not help them adapt to the new academic structure.
The study was conducted this month by the Hok Yau Club, a student support group.
The NSS curriculum is a major reform of Hong Kong's education system, which is said to be spoon-feeding students.
Canto-pop star Jacky Cheung Hok-yau, who serves as an ambassador for the club, attended a publicity event for the survey to promote activities it will hold to help youngsters adapt to the new curriculum.
