The Fulvio Albano Trio, from the Jazz Club Torino, will bring to Hong Kong world-class performers from the Italian jazz scene, with Fulvio Albano on saxophone, Gianluca Tagliazucchi on piano and Paolo Benedettini on double bass.

The trio will perform a concert on June 12 at InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong, Picasso Room, Level B1, 70 Mody Road, Tsim Sha Tsui as part of 'Italy 2009: Quality & Lifestyle'.

Canapes and fine Italian wine will be provided by Casamiawines throughout the cocktail and a pre-concert dinner will be held at The Mistral restaurant in the same hotel.

Albano is also director of the Due Laghi Jazz Workshop and works as a master in musical improvement with Haute Ecole de Jazz de Lausanne and Bern's Swiss Jazz School. The saxophonist and arranger has represented Italy and the European Union in many international jazz events and is one of the leading lights in the revival of the Italian jazz scene.
