Good times Silver jewellery brand Thomas Sabo recently made its first foray into the world of horology. It has three watch collections to choose from: Classic, featuring timeless styles; Rebel at Heart, with details such as dials with skulls, lily crosses and Chinese dragons; and the It Girl collection, for girls who like bling. We like this simple but edgy black style (HK$4,980) from the Rebel collection. The watches are available at Thomas Sabo, IFC Mall, Central, tel: 2295 3585. Jean therapy On the topic of bling, jeans are also getting some frosting, courtesy of Guess. Made from natural cotton and linen, the summer range of hot pants, skinny, bootcut and boyfriend denims feature back pockets embellished with butterflies (below left, HK$1,450) or wave details, while other styles come with a splattering of crystals at the front. Even the signature Guess triangle comes in crystals. The collection has been designed with Asian sizing in mind to ensure the right fit. The line is available at Guess, 2 Kingston Street, Causeway Bay, tel: 3422 8568. Shoe shine If you are after shoe bling, then look no further than New York-based UES (Upper Echelon Shoes). Founded by long-time friends Nick Cohen and Seth Campbell, who wanted to create what they call 'shoewlery', the line has been spotted on Kate Moss and Sean Diddy Combs. The collection features leather trainers decorated with chain laces in gold, silver and gunmetal; perfect for hip hop stars in the making. We like the Stud Lo in black leather with gold studs (below; HK$2,999). Available at Harvey Nichols, The Landmark, Central, tel: 3695 3388.
