Danny Shum Chap-shing has already long wrapped up the bonus for connections of Big Profit as the leading 2007 International Sale Griffin (ISG) and is hoping the gelding can find a little more next season to take him to the big time. 'Five wins in a season is very good for any horse,' said the trainer after Big Profit landed the Jockey Challenge for Howard Cheng Yue-tin as he held on for a narrow win in yesterday's final event. 'He has already won the bonus for the most successful ISG of his year and is still only three. I hope next season that he makes some natural strengthening up, and, maybe, then he will be able to win another race and we can take him to a mile.' Shum has his eye on the Derby with Big Profit, who has won four of his five races at 1,400m. 'If he can get a mile, then our opportunities will open up. His rating now will be in the 80s. If he can get one more win it will be high enough for him to join in the big races for his age,' he said.
