A YOUNG mother who allegedly throttled her baby girl to death because she would not stop crying, yesterday accused her husband of killing the child.
Chau Fung-chu, 27, broke down in tears as she told the High Court her husband Chan Kiu-wan had battered 10-month-old Mei-ki to death in a fit of temper.
Earlier the jury heard Chau had killed her baby by squeezing her throat after smothering her with a blanket while Chan was at work.
But yesterday Chau, who denies one charge of infanticide on January 30 last year, pointed the finger at her husband.
Giving evidence, she described how she arrived home from shopping on January 30 last year to find Chan, 29, beating and pinching the child.
Chau said: ''My husband was hitting her. He was pinching her and making her cry.
