Eddy Fong Ching  is the new council chairman of the Open University. His three-year term starts next Saturday. Michael Wong Yick-kam will assume Mr Fong's former position as council treasurer. Secretary for Education Michael Suen Ming-yeung said both men had a solid track record of public service. Mr Suen also paid tribute to Charles Lee Yeh-kwong, the outgoing council chairman.
