Comics are not evil

Many people think it is not good for children to read comics, saying they will get hooked. Some parents even think comics are evil, but I disagree.

I believe comics can provide a relaxing pastime for children. Of course, they should not spend all their time reading comics or else it will affect their studies.

I have loved comics for about five years and all my family and friends know it. Nobody stops me because it does not affect my studies. In fact, my results at school are getting better and better because reading comics helps me relax. Also, I made a lot of good friends who also enjoy reading comics.

Perhaps some adults think children choose comics with violent or sexual content and forbid the kids from reading them.

Parents can choose comics together with their children and even read with them. It might improve parents' relationship with their children.
