Pet funeral comforts
Many people in Hong Kong have pets that become members of their family. When they die, owners are very upset. A pet funeral service offers some comfort.
Recently, I have been working on a project that taught me a lot about this sort of service. I now think it is the best way for beloved pets to make their final journey.
My team interviewed employees of a pet funeral service company. When we got there, I was impressed by the environment: a little white building in the countryside with flowers and trees around it. When customers go there, I believe their pain of losing their beloved pets can be eased by the environment.
We watched a cremation and were touched at how gentle the staff was with the little puppy.
