Cuisine: Italian.  
Price: About HK$250 without drinks and before adding the service charge.
Ambience: The entrance isn't actually on Wyndham Street - it's around the corner on Pottinger Street. The split-level space, with a bar along the lower level (below), has folding doors which were left open for part of our meal, bringing in the warm air from outside and air-conditioning the steps of Pottinger Street. 
Pros: Pasta portions are large enough to serve as a main course. 
Cons: Tables for two are very tiny - we wanted to share the starter and meat course, and the dishes had to be put on a stand or there wouldn't have been enough room for our own dinner plates. The spaghetti Bolognese (HK$95) had overcooked pasta drenched in an  over-acidic, one-dimensional tomato sauce.  Veal saltimbocca (HK$175), the most expensive dish on the menu, also needed a more balanced sauce - it simply tasted of reduced wine. The accompanying spinach was far too salty. 
Recommended dishes: Beef carpaccio (HK$80, right) was a decent dish. The beef was actually a little too tender and it was impossible to separate the thin slices, suggesting it was pounded with a meat mallet a bit too enthusiastically. But the meat was punctuated by salty bites of parmesan and sweet-sour balsamic vinegar. Cheese gnocchi (HK$95) was by far the best dish of the evening; the gnocchi were tender and coated in a creamy sauce flavoured with parmesan, gruyere and gorgonzola. 
What else? While we are aware that cockroaches are a part of life in Hong Kong, we've been lucky in that we've rarely encountered them in restaurant dining rooms. The one on the wall near our table made us uncomfortable enough to leave without ordering dessert, after we quietly pointed out its presence to the waitress; she apologised to us before telling the manager, who did nothing.
