Grub: Traditional and creative local sweet treats. The menu offers everything you would expect at a local dessert venue, including freshly squeezed fruit juices and authentic sweet Chinese soup.
But what really stands out is the restaurant's snow-textured shaved ice. Softer and finer than what you're usually served, this comes in layers which melt almost instantly in your mouth. There is a wide range of sauces and toppings to choose from, such as fruit sauces, chocolate, chopped nuts, coffee or coconut jelly, and tapioca, to customise the plain ice.
Portions of all dishes are generous, especially the shaved ice, so share one between two, and try more than one dish.
Vibe: There's nothing particularly special to distinguish this from any other local dessert place. It's quite small and you should expect to share tables with others. On the upside, it's particularly clean and bright, so you can see your menu easily and look good in any photos you might feel the need to take.
