Learning from an English camp
Our school recently held a series of English-speaking events. 
One of them was an English day camp for students from STFA Leung Kit Wah Primary School. 
Form Six students, who organised the activity, had to do almost everything themselves. They got very little help from their teachers. 
I was selected to be a master of ceremonies, which was fun, though mistakes were made. We didn't prepare very well for the camp, and I was still working on the script with my partner until the hour before it started. 
At the beginning of the camp, I was quite nervous as I had heard that the primary students had good English skills. I was worried they would think I'm stupid. 
I also had to lead the camp song, which I enjoyed.
The primary students seemed to enjoy the games as they laughed very loudly. 
There was a drama activity in which all the students took part.
I was very impressed with their performances, and their English was fluent.
The two-day English camp was a very enjoyable experience and I learned a lot from the challenges I had to deal with.

See an internship as a 'golden chance'
In its efforts to create more job opportunities, the government recently introduced an internship scheme for university graduates. But the initiative has come under fire for its low salaries. 
I think an internship scheme can benefit my future career so money is not the first priority.
Without a doubt, internship schemes offer students valuable work experience and a competitive edge.
 Students who get the chance to practise skills learned in school have a much higher chance of finding a job than those who do not have any work experience. 
The salary might be low but the experience gained is surely priceless. In addition, the internship scheme is a golden opportunity for graduates to develop their potential under the guidance of experts in various fields. 
Unlike schools, students get the opportunity to have one-on-one communication with their 'teachers', rather than simply reading books and answering questions.

Best to choose three study electives
When it comes to elective subjects, I think students should take three of them. If students just focus on one elective, the risks are high when you do the exam. 
If the topic happens to be something you are unfamiliar with, it will be difficult to write a good essay in the exam. 
Studying three elective subjects provides more opportunities for students to broaden their horizons.
I also think that social issues should be included as an elective subject in the curriculum. If students know more about what is happening around the world, they will have more topics to discuss with their friends. Discussing issues is also good for improving speaking skills.
Debating could also be an elective because joining a debate is a great learning experience. It helps improve your analytical and communication skills.
