THE Government will today raise the three per cent interest rate on tax reserve certificates (TRC) that is tax-free to 3.84 per cent.

The new rate, which was gazetted on Monday, will apply to certificates issued from today.

Interest on the certificates is calculated in monthly steps and the new rate will be 32 cents per month per $100.
