There were 39 cases of typhoid fever reported from April to this month, the Centre for Health Protection said yesterday. Among these cases, 30 people had been to Indonesia and 29 worked as domestic helpers in Hong Kong. The cases involved six males and 33 females, aged between nine months and 87 years. No secondary infections had been reported, the centre said.
