SCMP Reporter

CELIA Chong has been appointed senior vice-president and general manager of TNT and Cartoon Network in Asia, responsible for all programming, operations and development of the networks, which will be launched as a 24-hour service in the last quarter of this year.

   She was previously with Star Plus, a division of STAR TV.

  Manuel Ayala has been made deputy general manager of the firm.She was formerly a reporter, producer and anchor for the Philippines' largest network and later business development manager for Media Assets, the acquisitions wing of STAR TV.
