Total at 2,702 as 190 new cases confirmed

Some 190 flu cases were confirmed yesterday, taking the total to 2,702, the Centre for Health Protection said. The condition of a 23-year-old university student improved from critical to stable. There were still five critical cases and one serious case. Another 40 patients were in stable condition in hospital. The new cases comprised 83 men and 107 women.
