Bossini chairman ends talks on stake sale

The controlling shareholder and chairman of Bossini International Holdings, Law Ka-sing, has terminated talks about selling his stake in the casual-wear maker. In a statement to the stock exchange last night, the company said Mr Law was not in talks with any other party on the disposal of his shares and applied for the stock to resume trading today. Bossini, which closed up 39.44 per cent on Tuesday due to speculation of a takeover, fell 8.08 per cent yesterday to 45.5 HK cents before trading was suspended. The identity of the potential buyer was never revealed.
