Clerk admits stealing HK$5.4m

An accounting clerk employed by the incorporated owners of a residential building in Sham Shui Po yesterday admitted stealing more than HK$5.44 million over four years. Liu Chun-ho, 51, pleaded guilty to theft before Judge Andrew Chan Hing-wai in the District Court. She stole the money between January 1, 2004 and April 19 last year. Liu's sentencing was adjourned to August 24.
