Vibe: Casual, local and intimate. This is street food-style dining, but thankfully served indoors.

The surrounding area has remained largely unchanged for decades, giving it a real family feel.

There are several branches of Cambo, each specialising in different Southeast Asian cuisines, along both sides of the street, and waiters can often be seen carrying food from one branch to the other.

Grub: Thai and Vietnamese food - the usual curries, seafood, rice, Tom Yum soup, and traditional drinks, as well as a takeaway snack bar.

You can find pretty much anything you'd expect from any Southeast Asian cuisine here, and it's authentic. At the same time, there's enough variety and familiarity to appeal to even more timid diners.
