Because of its proclaimed antioxidant and regenerative properties, it's used in many cosmetic products. Wheatgerm oil is said to relieve skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. Proponents say it can heal burns and skin ulcers and repair dry skin. It's believed to also help skin cells weakened by sun damage. Made from the kernel of the wheat grain, wheatgerm oil is light yellow and fat soluble.
