ALL night rave parties which have taken Britain by storm are now making a solid mark in the territory.

  Tomorrow night will see the latest in a series of local raves as top international DJs Jim ''Shaft'' Ryan and Tony de Vit spin their funky discs in Neptune II.

  Local DJs Tim Earl and 7Up will also be on hand to keep the groove going. It all starts at 1 am and admission is $150.

  Tonight: Folk guitarist Michael Chapman will be playing at the Fringe Club. Tickets are $70 and the show starts around 8 pm. He will be followed by May Ip and her band Instant Moonshine at 9 pm.

   Madagascan percussion band Nogabe will be playing all the infectious dance tracks from their CD, plus a few extras. Be there from around 9.30 pm.

  Rowdy reggae band Captain Mabullah will play The Wanch. The party starts at 10 pm.

  China Max in Times Square has blues, jazz and rock from house band, In The House, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10.30 pm.

  Mirage play at JJ's every night except Sundays, from 9.30 pm. Admission is $110 except for Fridays and Saturdays when it is $170, including one drink.

  Judgment A.D. features house band Max Tempo from 10.30 pm.

  Dave Colquhoun will play at Mad Dogs Kowloon from 6 pm before moving over to Mad Dogs Central at 9 pm.

  Tomorrow: The fabulous Soul Commotion are back on home turf, Mad Dogs Central. Dave, Jo and the guys belt out classic soul and Motown from 9.30 pm.

  After an extensive tour of Hong Kong's army bases pop-rock favourites Splash It About make their return to The Wanch. Catch them from 10 pm.

  Afro-reggae band Nogabe in the Jazz Club. The Rock Gang will pile-drive Amoeba from 10 pm.

  Sunday: Wayman Chapman will be taking a solo break in China Max from 9.30 pm. Nogabe in the Jazz Club from 9.30 pm.

  Monday: May Ip plays her folkie originals at F.Stop from 10 pm. The Musical Mystery Tour at the Jazz Club, from 9.30 pm.

  Tuesday: British sax whizz Julian Arguelles will team up with Eugene Pao in the Jazz Club, from 9.30 pm. Radio Free Hong Kong will be supplying the underground sounds at F.Stop at 8 pm. Admission is $30.

  It's folk night at the Fringe Club from 8 pm, admission is $40.

  Wednesday: Wayman Chapman at China Max from 9.30 pm. Music of this century at the Fringe Club will feature contemporary works by Raymond Mok and Mark Loh from 6.30 pm. Julian Arguelles hits the Jazz Club from 9.30 pm.

  Thursday: Julian Arguelles again at the Jazz Club from 9.30 pm.
