Hong Kong embark on a giant-killing operation when they tackle North Korea at the East Asian Championship qualifying tournament in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, today. Both teams won their opening matches and the winners today are likely to join South Korea, Japan and China in next year's finals. Hong Kong, represented by champions South China, beat Taiwan 4-0 on Sunday, while the North Koreans scored a 9-2 win over minnows Guam. However, North Korea, who have qualified for next year's World Cup finals, will present a more difficult obstacle.
