Felix of Felixhirsch's Tour de Table (felixhirsch.wordpress.com) is a student at the London School of Economics but he doesn't lead the life of a normal undergraduate. He is not surviving on cheap beer, beans and sandwiches. Instead, he spends his money on cookbooks and eating at many of the best restaurants in Europe. During the summers, he's not slaving away at unpaid internships in financial institutions, rather, you'll find him slaving away at internships in top restaurants such as Gilles Fridrici (a Michelin one-star in Luxembourg) and Juan Amador (a Michelin three-star in Germany). The list of restaurants he's eaten in is impressive. He goes off the beaten track to places such as In de Wulf (one star) in Dranouter, Belgium and Steirereck im Stadtpark (two stars) in Vienna, Austria. He has also eaten in famous places, including Les Ambassadeurs (pictured; two stars) and Alain Ducasse Plaza Athenee (three stars) in Paris and Hakkasan (one star) and The Square (two stars) in London. His posts are detailed, covering each course, from the amuse bouches to the mignardises.
