New kids on the ball . . . Hong Kong footballers Tim Bredbury (left) and Carlton Fairweather launched a new soccer coaching programme for youngsters at So Kon Po yesterday. Known as 'Kickstart', the course is designed to teach the basic skills to the youngsters and to give them an insight into life as a professional footballer. Hong Kong-born Bredbury was on the books of Liverpool as an apprentice and a professional before returning to make his name in the territory, while London-born Fairweather played for Wimbledon for several seasons before joining Voicelink in Hong Kong and teaming up with Bredbury.
