DKNY grins and bares it

55DSL puts its foot down 
Diesel offshoot 55DSL has opened a store at Langham Place. To celebrate the brand's 15th anniversary it has collaborated with Adidas Originals on a pair of limited-edition trainers (HK$1,200),  available at its new store from Friday. Langham Place, Mong Kok, tel: 2915 7741.
Jeweller's all heart
Eco-friendly jeweller Platinum Heart is hosting a trunk show today until Saturday. Look for Mughal-style jewellery (right) with uncut diamonds and gold enamel work starting at HK$5,000. Lane Crawford has launched its made-to-measure programme for the season. Make appointments with master tailors from brands such as Canali, Pal Zileri, Brioni and Clive Darby. YSL hits the streets 
Yves Saint Laurent will be distributing its fifth manifesto for the autumn/winter season this weekend. The first 1,500 passersby will receive the manifesto in a cotton  bag (below) designed by creative director Stefano Pilati. This Saturday at various spots in Hong Kong (go to yslmanifesto.com). 
One small step for LV  
Louis Vuitton celebrates the 40th anniversary of the first moon landing by hosting Dominic Man-kit Lam: Voyage of Discovery at the Canton Road Louis Vuitton Gallery. The exhibition features Lam's artworks and historic photos from Nasa. Daily, until the end of November at the Louis Vuitton Gallery, Louis Vuitton Maison, 5 Canton Rd, TST. 
Mall or nothing 
IFC Mall is hosting Fashion Moment, a series of fashion and photo shows to celebrate the start of the autumn season. There will be roving mannequins, with graphics from Paris-based fashion illustrator Lovisa Burfitt and backstage images taken by local photographer Phoebe Wong at runway shows. Customers who spend HK$3,000 or more and receive a gift voucher worth HK$100 or a limited-edition bag designed by Burfitt. Until October 4 at IFC Mall, Central.
