Audi S5 Sportback  
This elegant, five-door coupe (left) has a three-litre, supercharged V6 that is said to whack out 440Nm of torque between 2,900 and 5,300 rpm and thump to 100km/h in  5.4 seconds.  Fitted with a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission and quattro permanent all-wheel drive, the S5 Sportback tops at  250km/h but sips 9.7l/100km (29.1mpg), the marque says.  
Citroen DS3 
Launches the new DS line with a funky interior, a colour-contrasted 'floating roof', shark-fin B-pillars, lots of safety and sleek front LED lights array.  The VTi 95, VTi 120  and THP 150  petrol engines spew 136g/km to 160g/km of carbon dioxide. It has a 10.3-metre turning circle and a 285-litre boot.
Ferrari 458 Italia 
This sleek, mid-engined beauty replaces the F430 with a 562-horsepower V8 and  a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox. It is  said to top at 325km/h and  hit 100km/h in 3.4 seconds, with Ferrari-enhanced ergonomics for performance driving.
Maserati GranCabrio  
Styled by Pininfarina, it is the marque's first four-seater convertible and our Best of Show (right). With a 4.7-litre V8,  433hp engine, the convertible has a canvas roof and  the longest wheel base in its segment. 
Mini Coupe Concept 
Designed to be the most agile  Mini yet, the two-seater has a weight-saving aluminium roof,  a 211hp, 1.6-litre twin scroll turbocharged John Cooper Works engine that sips 6.9l/100km (40.9mpg) for the carbon dioxide spew of just 165g/km.  
Peugeot RCZ 
This sleek 2+2   coupe will be  sold next spring  with the French marque's new 200hp, 1.6 THP engine.
Porsche 911 Sport Classic 
Note the 1973 Carrera RS 2.7-like 'ducktail' on this 3.8-litre grey model (below). Its 3.8-litre flat six belts 408hp, hits 100km/h in 4.6 seconds and tops at 302 km/h - but for 10.6 l/100 km (26.6mpg) on combined runs, Porsche says. Production run limited to 250 cars. 
Saab 9-5 Saloon 
This saloon seems as hunky as the Aero X that was such a waah in Geneva in 2006. Fitted with head-up information display and packed with the marque's latest  cruising, safety and four-wheel-drive electronics.
Volvo C70 
This vario-roofed update  gets an S60 Concept-inspired  V-shaped wedge front and the XC60's hi-tech LED lamps on  the rear. The  226hp T5 promises 320Nm of torque and 8.9l/100km (31.7mpg) for a carbon dioxide spew of 209g/km. It is due in Europe next year. Its roof rises in 30 seconds. 
Lexus LF-Ch  
With an electric-only driving facility, a key feature of Lexus Hybrid Drive, the LF-Ch (right) will allow  virtually silent urban driving with zero emissions, the marque says.
