So Ka-chit, 17, a Form Seven student at Hon Wah College, was thrilled to get the Oklahoma City Thunder player's autograph. 'I bought Durant's college jersey so he could sign it. It's such a rare opportunity to meet a NBA player so the signed jersey means a lot to me. I'm really grateful to Young Post for arranging this fabulous activity. I'll never forget it.'

Jacky Cheung Yuk-hang, 14, a Form Three student at Pui Kiu Middle School said the experience was a dream come true. 'I love basketball and I've always dreamed of meeting NBA players. Playing on the same court as Durant is absolutely unbelievable,' he says.

'During the training session, I tried to defend Durant's drive to the basket. He [pretended to go left] to get me off-balance and then took the ball behind his back and dunked it. It was crazy. His moves inspired me to work harder on my game and be a better player.'

Durant hopes his visit will introduce more Hongkongers to the Thunder.

'Our team is from a small city,' he says.

'We're not the Lakers or the Celtics, and fans in Hong Kong don't see us that much, so I hope I can let them know more about our team.'
