1. Stroll - Joe Hisaishi
This is the theme song of a well-known Japanese animation, My Neighbour Totoro (1988), directed by Hayao Miyazaki. I love the arrangement. The song depicts the lovely relationship between the two sisters in the film. I also have an elder sister, so when I listen to this track, it brings back a lot of fond memories from my childhood.
2. The Nutcracker Op 71 - Tchaikovsky
It was a family tradition for us to watch The Nutcracker ballet every Christmas when I lived in Canada. So whenever I play this song at home, it makes me feel like I'm with my family. I can never get enough of it.
3. Aquellos Ojos Verdes - Nat King Cole
This is the song from my favourite movie, Wong Kar-wai's In the Mood for Love (2000). When it's played, I can picture the conversation in the movie between Tony Leung Chiu-wai and Maggie Cheung Man-yuk who are in love but can't really be together. It's very sad.
