Quigley all steamed up over sex scene

Die Hard 4.0 star Maggie Quigley has blamed her handsome co-star for an awkward film scene.

Quigley attended a private screening of her latest Chinese-language film, The Warrior and the Wolf, at the Toronto International Film Festival this week. The screening was also attended by the film's mainland director, Tian Zhuangzhuang, and Quigley's Japanese co-star, Joe Odagiri.

'In the movie, I play a tribal woman who lives in the nomadic areas of China thousands of years ago. My character and Joe's sort of develop an unlikely love story,' said Quigley (right, flanked by Odagiri and Tian).

Quigley plays a widow consigned to a life of solitude and not allowed to love any man from another tribe, but she secretly falls in love with Commander Lu (Odagiri), who is trapped in the mountains near her tribe during an army retreat.

But the media have shown more interest in the sex scene featuring Quigley and Odagiri.

'Well, Joe is a really, really handsome guy,' she said. 'It's always uncomfortable to do that kind of scene with someone so handsome. He and I ended up laughing a lot during the filming of the scene.'
