Kotaro Okamura Head of Japan Thomson Reuters Okamura joins Thomson Reuters on October 1 from JP Morgan, where he was senior representative and Tokyo branch manager. Heading one of Thomson Reuters top markets globally, he will build on his 30-year career in the financial industry, bringing a wealth of experience in commercial and investment banking, and strong local market relationships across the financial industry. He has held many roles in his 19 years with JP Morgan Group and, before that, with Sumitomo Bank and the Japanese Ministry of Finance. Okamura holds a bachelor of arts in economics from the University of Tokyo and will report to Michael Peace, managing director of Thomson Reuters, Asia. Henry Li Head of China Thomson Reuters Li is helping to lead the company's role in the development of the fast-paced, dynamic and rapidly evolving financial market in the mainland. Li has 16 years of experience in the financial services industry in the mainland and his most recent role was as senior vice-president and Beijing branch manager at ABN Amro Bank (China), with leadership responsibility for banking activities in the region. Before that he was senior vice-president and head of international corporate finance, China at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation; before that head of institutional asset management, China at Dresdner Bank. Li holds an MBA from the University of Antwerp, Belgium. Belinda Goh Director of sales and marketing Sheraton Sanya Resort Singaporean Goh gained her extensive sales and marketing experience in various luxury hotel groups including the Shangri-La, Peninsula and Hyatt in Singapore, London, Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Before joining Sheraton Sanya Resort she led the sales and marketing team in Grand Hyatt Shanghai as director of marketing for nearly three years. Keith Chan Head of listed products sales, wealth management sales of HSBC Global Markets HSBC Chan is responsible for managing the listed product business in Asia-Pacific, with a particular focus on developing HSBC as a top issuer for listed warrant and callable bull/bear contracts (CBBC) in Hong Kong. He reports to Gary Hung, managing director and head of intermediaries North Asia, wealth management sales of HSBC Global Markets. Chan has extensive experience in the field of wealth management products. Prior to this post, Chan worked as head of warrants sales at Macquarie Capital Securities in Hong Kong. Miranda Poon Director, business development, Asia-Pacific American Century Investments Poon will focus on the Greater China region. where she has strong institutional experience and a wide network of contacts. She joins American Century Investments from Pictet, where she was previously vice-president, business development, Asia ex-Japan. Prior to that, Miranda was investment director, business development at Standard Life from 2001 to 2006, and previously head of MPF sales at Dresdner RCM Global Investors in Hong Kong. Betty Ng Client service manager American Century Investments Betty recently joined the Asian sales team from Morgan Stanley and will play a sales support and client-service role. Christian Bruhns Executive chef Hilton Beijing Bruhns is responsible for food conceptualisation and promotions. He will impart more than 20 years of culinary and kitchen management experience to the Hilton Beijing's five restaurants and bars - Elements restaurant, One East, Tonic Lounge, Caff?Cino and Zeta Bar. He joined the Hilton Family in 1997 and has worked as executive sous chef at Hilton Shanghai, executive chef at Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa and executive chef at Hilton Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. He developed his passion for food and cooking when he started working in restaurants in Germany at the age of 16. He broadened his culinary knowledge by working on the five-star cruise liner Europa.
