I AM pleased to learn that the Mass Transit Railway Corporation is going to have a re-think about its 14-year ban on toilets on the underground system.

It is strange that such a large railway system has not had toilets installed along the lines, given that it now has more than 40 kilometres of track. Why has the corporation never installed toilets? I hope the MTR management can follow the example of the KCR Corporation and put toilets in as soon as possible.
It should do this, for the sake of the travelling public.
