A 21-year-old man who had sex with a girl of 14 on their first date and later pressured her into sex five more times after they broke up was sentenced to four years in jail yesterday.

On one occasion before they had sex, Leung Yu-hin ordered her to wear her school uniform, before she was blindfolded and tied up.

The District Court heard that he got to know the girl on the internet and had sex with her four times during their two-month relationship.

After they broke up, he threatened her into having sex five more times - in his car or at a motel. He denied four counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a girl under 16, and five charges of procurement by threat to perform an unlawful sexual act.

Passing sentence, Chief Judge Patrick Li Hon-leung said Leung took advantage of the girl's immaturity to satisfy his desire. He said Li's behaviour in threatening her into sex on five occasions was outrageous.

In previous hearings, prosecutor Tommy Ho said the girl fell in love with Leung soon after they had become acquainted on the internet in March 2006. On their first date that month, she had sex with him at his flat in Whampoa Garden.
