If you've ever wanted to be a journalist, editor, photographer, designer or graphic illustrator, or if you just want to get some hands-on experience of how newspapers work, here's your chance. This term, Young Post is inviting teams of students from all over Hong Kong to produce our Tuesday covers. That's right - the whole front page. Teams should consist of six students. They will pitch their story ideas to the editor and once the idea is accepted, they will write the story, edit the copy and design the page. Team YP will be on hand to offer advice. Then, the day before their page is published, the team will be given an exclusive VIP tour of the South China Morning Post offices where, after meeting Team YP, they will get to see their cover as it rolls off the press. If you would like to be part of this exciting adventure, log on to the Young Post website, yp.scmp.com and click on the 'Make the Headlines' banner, fill in the form with your pitch for the cover story. Meanwhile, follow Jason's story as he endeavours to take on what is deemed one of the most dangerous jobs in the world today - investigative reporting.
