On style, she rules
I love my winter coats but would love them more if they had fur around the wrists. Where can I get one like that?

The Dictator rules: Good idea. Hong Kong weather really demands fur. Not. We'll just pretend you're going to a cold climate soon. You could, of course, modify your beloved coats by having fur added to the cuffs. Specialists such as Siberian Fur (29 Des Voeux Road, Central, tel: 2522 1380) are happy to handle such requests. For a quick fur fix, they carry fox-trimmed cashmere capelets (HK$9,500), fox collars (HK$3,500) and more. Max Mara has classic camel coats with fur cuffs, some with fur collars too (about HK$15,080 to HK$21,680; Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, tel: 2735 5329). Celine has them in a slightly more sporty parka form (about HK$24,600 to HK$60,000; Harbour City, tel: 3417 3038). If money is no object, slip on a little luxury by Loro Piana, including cashmere coats with removable chinchilla trims, etc (HK$89,000 to HK$241,500; Harbour City, tel: 2175 3368). We're in awe of the beauty of Lanvin's new black coat in kid with fox trim (HK$155,200; Elements, 1 Austin Road West, Kowloon, tel: 2196 8052). Even Peta members and less extravagant shoppers can get the look with Diane von Furstenberg's multicoloured boucle coat with fur-like knitted cuffs (HK$7,700; Elements, tel: 2196 8477).
I like the idea of those sleeve things that go up the arm but don't have fingers like long gloves. Where do they sell them so I can keep wearing T-shirts when the weather gets a bit colder? Like leg warmers for arms!
