The report 'HKU rated 24th best in the world' on page C1 yesterday had a number of figures wrong in the graphic or text. The University of Hong Kong has risen, not fallen, two places to 24th spot; Hong Kong University of Science and Technology has risen, not fallen, four places to 35th place; Hong Kong Polytechnic University has jumped 29 places, not 19, to be ranked 195th; and Tsinghua University has risen four places, not seven, to 49th spot, not 47th.
