Rise in graft involving property management

The number of people prosecuted for corruption in property management rose in the first eight months of the year by seven to 27, ICAC figures show. The Independent Commission Against Corruption said that of all private sector complaints, about 40 per cent involved property management. With HK$1 billion to be injected into repairs to old buildings in the next two years, it has held workshops for 1,000 property owners and owners' corporations.
