While more and more devices can now take and display photos, it's still nice sometimes to get a print of a picture for occasions when you're away from your technology.
The Sony DPP-F700 lets you do both - display your photos electronically and, when you see one you like, print it out. Featuring a sleek design that will suit any decor, the DPP-F700 has a 7-inch digital photo frame with an integral photo printer.
The TFT LED screen has a maximum resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, and photos can be played back in a slideshow mode. Music or video files won't work, however.
There is also rudimentary editing capacity for cropping and touching up your photos, as well as the ability to zoom into a photo, and delete, move or rename photos.
The printer behind the photo frame offers 101.6 x 152.4 mm prints at 300 dpi. Using the company's TruFast printing technology, prints are output in less than a minute. And thanks to use of special photo paper packs, prints are smudge- and fingerprint-resistant and won't fade over time. Sony has also incorporated a dedicated button on the frame itself for printing the image displayed.
Also included are more than 30 templates, including a calendar option, for printing out your photos with a more creative touch. You can even print out official ID photos.
