A late goal by marksman Albert Virgili saved Kitchee as they forced a 3-3 draw with Fourway Rangers in the BMA First Division at Hong Kong Stadium last night. The Spaniard, who scored his seventh goal of the season in stoppage time to give Kitchee the equaliser, came close to winning the match as his next shot beat Fourway keeper Sui Weijie only for the effort to be ruled offside. 'Even if we had lost the match we should not be too disappointed as we played well in the second half despite trailing 2-1,' said Kitchee president Ken Ng Kin. Fourway moved to the top of the table on 10 points, one ahead of South China. But the Caroliners, who are focusing on the AFC Cup, have two matches in hand. In the Canbo Senior Shield, Citizen beat Sha Tin 2-0 at Tsing Yi Sports Ground to set up a quarter-final clash against Pegasus.
