Parents push us for our own good
I hated my parents when I was small. At that time, I thought I had no status at home. My parents were so strange to me. Whatever I did seemed to be wrong or a waste of time.
I still did my best to do what they wanted of me. I did my homework and studied hard every day, especially before exams. If I got low marks, I would be punished. I used to cry and I hated them so much. I really wanted someone to understand me.
Now, I am not a child anymore and I realise that all the things my parents did were all for my own good. All parents love their children and want them to have a good future. They push us because they love us. We should appreciate them for their efforts.
