A return to the wide-open spaces of Sha Tin should help Amityship land his first success in the final leg of tomorrow afternoon's Triple Trio.

With the TT failing to go off on Sunday after a tough set of results, the main prize is expected to reach HK$4 million, and Amityship looks a standout banker after coming up with gate one for 10-pound claiming apprentice Keith Yeung Ming-lun.

The Ricky Yiu Poon-fai-trained four-year-old began the season with an excellent second to Brave Spirit - who strengthened the form when winning his next start - before finishing third to Able Dragon at Happy Valley after losing his position before the home turn.

He should secure the run of the race on this occasion and prove too good, with his main dangers likely to come from Super Surveys, Great Supreme, Healthy Blueberry and Triumphant Diamond.

In the opening leg, it is hard to go past Cheerful Happiness when searching for a banker, given the Andy Leung Ting-wah-trained seven-year-old has returned from his break in career-best form.

He placed at his first two runs of the campaign, before scoring an impressive last-to-first victory in his previous start under in-form rider Way Leung Ming-wai.
